How we work

What working here actually means. In four parts.

The person closest to the work has the microphone

There is no presentation relay. Strategists, designers, engineers, and performance leads explain their own recommendations, hear feedback directly, and remain accountable for what happens next. Client-success and delivery leaders create clarity, continuity, and accountability; they do not stand between the client and the people doing the thinking.

AI is infrastructure. Human judgment is the standard.

AI accelerates research, analysis, production, documentation, and coordination. Our people own the judgment, creativity, client relationships, and results—and are expected to help improve the systems we use.

Senior leaders stay close to the work

Our senior leaders and practice heads remain involved in delivery. Decisions happen quickly, context is accessible, and feedback comes from people who understand the work rather than from a distant approval layer.

Senior ownership on every engagement

Clients get the experience they were promised. Early-career teammates and interns contribute meaningful work inside senior-led teams, with context, coaching, and review.

Open roles

We hire against real work, not an org chart.

Every opening has a defined business need, a clear owner, and measurable outcomes. We are looking for people who can strengthen the company we are building—not simply fill seats in a conventional agency structure.

No posting that fits? Show us what you should own here and be specific about the role, capability, or business outcome you are proposing.

What comes with it.Stated plainly.

Eight things, in the words we use internally. If something here matters more to you than it looks like it should, ask about it on the first call rather than the fourth.

Flexible time off

Unlimited vacation days, 10 paid company holidays, and unlimited sick days.

Retirement

A fully vested 401(k) plan through a qualified plan provider.

AI tools and development

Access to the tools, training, experimentation, and shared workflows needed to keep your craft current and expand what you can do.

Compensation clarity

Common questions

Questions worth answeringbefore the first call.

How do I apply if nothing listed fits what I do?

Choose the closest role or talent-network category and show us your work. Tell us what you are unusually good at, what you would want to own at Pyxl, what you have built before, and why that capability matters to the company now. Specific applications receive more attention than broad ones.

What is honestly different about working here?

Pyxl is lean, direct, and highly accountable. You will have access to clients and senior leaders, but you will also be accountable for the quality and outcome of your work. AI removes more of the routine work; it does not lower the standard. People who want ownership, direct feedback, and room to build tend to thrive here. People who prefer narrow handoffs and several approval layers generally do not.

Where would I be based?

Pyxl is remote-first across the United States, with collaboration hubs in Nashville and Charleston. Most of the company works with substantial Eastern and Central time-zone overlap. Individual postings state any additional location or in-person requirements.

What does the interview process look like?

Most processes include an initial conversation, a role-specific work or portfolio discussion, and a final conversation with the person responsible for the function. Any additional assessment, location requirement, or compensation structure should be disclosed before the candidate is asked to invest significant time.

Not seeing the role you actually want?Show us what you would build here.

Send work, not adjectives. Tell us what you are unusually good at, what you would want to own, what you have built before, and how you use AI to make your judgment—not just your output—better.
