Pyxl is seeking an experienced Sr. Technical Project Manager with deep expertise in AI prompt engineering, agentic AI architectures, and complex technical project delivery. This role leads cross-functional initiatives spanning websites, applications, and AI-integrated solutions—bridging cutting-edge technology implementation with strategic project execution. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for websites, applications, and AI-integrated initiatives, from discovery through deployment and optimization
- Architect and oversee implementation of agentic AI systems, including multi-agent workflows, autonomous task execution, and tool-use frameworks
- Design, test, and refine prompt architectures for large language models (LLMs) and generative AI tools to support client projects and internal efficiencies
- Collaborate with creative, development, and strategy teams to identify opportunities for AI-enhanced solutions across web, mobile, and enterprise platforms
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries, agent configurations, and documentation for consistent AI application across teams
- Translate complex AI and technical capabilities into actionable project requirements and client-facing recommendations
- Manage project timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation for technology-driven engagements
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity on implementation approaches, dependencies, and limitations
- Establish quality assurance processes for AI-generated outputs and technical deliverables, ensuring brand alignment and accuracy
- Stay current on emerging AI tools, agentic frameworks, and prompt engineering methodologies, evaluating their applicability to Pyxl’s service offerings
- Mentor team members on effective AI utilization, prompt engineering fundamentals, and technical project best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical project management experience within a digital agency environment
- Proven experience managing complex website builds, mobile/web application development, and highly technical projects from kickoff to launch
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with prompt engineering, including structured prompting techniques, chain-of-thought reasoning, and multi-step workflows
- Strong understanding of agentic AI models and architectures, including autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration, tool integration, and memory/context management
- Working knowledge of LLM capabilities and limitations (GPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar)
- Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (Asana, Jira, Monday.com)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and QA teams on technical requirements and delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred
- Experience managing marketing clients, including campaign-driven projects, brand initiatives, and performance marketing programs
- Familiarity with AI/ML platform APIs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures, and vector databases
- Background in software development, technical architecture, or engineering
- Experience with CMS platforms, e-commerce systems, or enterprise integrations
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification
