As with any brand that has been around for approximately 60 years, USAFA was in need of a refresh. Simply, their website didn’t reflect the cutting-edge research and leadership training that elevates this university above all others. Pyxl was called in to make those necessary changes.
As for design, Pyxl established brand guidelines for print and digital communications, optimized existing social media platforms, and developed a strategy for launching new social media platforms. Pyxl also designed a new logo, typography, tag lines, templates, and a comprehensive brand guide to modernize the Academy’s brand.
Pyxl worked with departments across campus to rewrite and optimize site content to improve search engine rankings. Ultimately, Pyxl designed and developed a mobile-friendly, eye-catching, and user-friendly website to tell the Academy’s story in a more engaging way.
