Pyxl Wins 2015 Most Impactful Small Business Award
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. November 24, 2015 – Pyxl, a full-service digital marketing firm, was recognized as the Young Professionals of Knoxville’s 2015 Most Impactful Small Business. The Impact Awards are based on company size, business philosophy, community involvement, impact and overall leadership. Each year, YPK honors one local small business (under 50 local employees), one local large business (over 50 employees) and one non-profit who are making an impact on young professionals.
“At Pyxl, it’s important to us to empower young professionals, as they are the future of our organization,” said Josh Phillips, president of Pyxl. “We are thrilled to have won the 2015 YPK Impact Award.”
Pyxl was originally founded by a group of five young professionals, all of whom are still with the company today. 15% of their current employees started at Pyxl as interns and are now directors, managers and valuable members of the agency. Additionally, 85% of Pyxl’s employees are young professionals and their titles range from digital communication specialist to president.
“Being honored with this year’s Most Impactful Small Business award is a true testament to Pyxl’s vision,” said Phillips. “We encourage our young professionals to challenge themselves, their peers and our leadership team to improve our processes and delivery of our services.”
Pyxl joined Claris Networks – Most Impactful Large Business – and the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce – Most Impactful Non-Profit – as this year’s three YPK Impact Award winners. In the Most Impactful Small Business category, Pyxl was chosen from a group of three finalists, which also included Vol Network and Dead End BBQ.
