Tempe, Ariz. – Dec. 13, 2012 – Pyxl, a digital marketing firm headquartered in Knoxville, Tenn., with recent expansion to Tempe, announced today the launch of Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona’s new website. The non-profit won the $50,000 web package in a charity contest organized by Pyxl.
Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona is a non-profit organization that uses the healing powers of the creative arts to help abused, neglected and homeless children. In October 2011, Pyxl announced a web package charity contest as part of its community outreach efforts in the Phoenix metro area. Fourteen charities were initially nominated by the Phoenix community, and Free Arts garnered the most votes out of the total 14,000 votes that were cast over a three-week time period.
“Words cannot express how honored we are to have this amazing web package,” said Barbara DuVal Fenster, Executive Director of Free Arts. “This new site will help us further our reach in attracting volunteers, and ultimately in helping to make a difference in the lives of the children we serve.”
