KARM Launches Responsive, Integrated Website with Pyxl

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. Mar. 18, 2014 – Knox Area Rescue Ministries, non-profit organization providing shelter to 400 homeless people every night and meals for 1,000 people every day, teamed up with Pyxl, digital marketing firm recently honored on the 2013 Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies, to launch their latest website.

“The new KARM website has taken our organization to the next level in professionalism, usability and functionality in web design. We couldn’t be more pleased,” said Sue Renfro, KARM marketing manager. “Our organization is complex, with many layers, but the new website creates simplicity out of complexity. We needed greater web mobility to reach our various audiences through their mobile devices, and the site has rapidly increased our web usage because of its mobile-friendly nature.”

The site is responsive, designed with functionality in mind and works seamlessly across all platforms including computers, smartphones and tablets. Built in WordPress, this website is extremely user-friendly, and it is compatible with their blog allowing for an easy transition. It is also integrated with their unique donation system and custom store mapping via Google Maps.

One of the added benefits of the new KARM website was the blending of the former KARM Stores site with the KARM Ministries site. Having two sites confused KARM donors, supporters, volunteers and store shoppers so Pyxl merged the two to strengthen and unify the KARM brand, eliminating confusion and streamlining processes.
