New TeamPeople Site Features On-scroll Animations

We are excited to announce the launch of the newly redesigned TeamPeople website! TeamPeople is a media and AV staffing company that recruits, hires and manages creative and technical talent for a variety of clients, and has been a long-time client of Pyxl. When it was time for their website redesign, we jumped at the chance.

What was TeamPeople’s Vision?

TeamPeople turned to Pyxl for a new, responsive website that would showcase a lot of modern web development and design techniques, as well as deviate away from their previous orange and black color palette and enhance their branding. Additionally, it was important to TeamPeople to have Google Analytics set up to capture pageviews and click events.

How did Pyxl Deliver?

Our team built a responsive website that included parallax scrolling, hover and on-scroll animations, video backgrounds and stylized fonts by utilizing CSS3 and HTML5 functionality. We also updated and enhanced the color palette and search engine optimized the site. Additionally, we suggested and set up Google’s Universal Analytics to meet TeamPeople’s tracking needs.

Design

Throughout the design process, Dereck, the lead designer on the project, worked to find a happy medium with TeamPeople’s color palette to make sure that the site would continue to represent TeamPeople’s brand and not look completely different. He enjoyed collaborating with TeamPeople’s leadership to create a site flow and overall design concept, as well as styling their icon and different fonts to fit the feel of the site.

Sean and Chase were the two lead developers on the project, and teamed up to put Dereck’s designs into action. Sean had the freedom to create and utilize new web development techniques and enjoyed implementing the various animations, giving the site a more interactive feel. Chase dealt with quite a bit of custom integrations in the backend of the site – his favorite part? “Launching it!” They also included video backgrounds throughout the site, while controlling the visibility and functionality through user interaction.

Pyxl has had the privilege of working with TeamPeople for the past two years on a variety of projects, allowing us to see the growth of their business firsthand. Their newly designed website will push their growth further, with the ability to reach their audience on a wide range of devices.
