Senior Client Strategist

About the Role

As part of the Client Strategy team, the Senior Client strategist will be responsible for creating and cultivating client relationships through thoughtful, and solution-based project consulting. Applying an informed understanding of Pyxl’s capabilities, superior communication, and attention to detail, Strategists are charged with driving company revenue goals while ensuring that our client experience is top-notch.

  • Own a portfolio of current client accounts.
  • Balance Business Development with Account Management responsibilities.
  • Work with the Pyxl Delivery team to inform and guide strategic and tactical project planning.
  • Communicate with prospective and existing clients via calls, video conferencing, and in-person sessions to understand goals and define strategic and tactical plans aligned to their needs and Pyxl’s strengths.
  • Write, edit, revise, and complete compelling emails, proposals, and other documents to drive prospective and current clients to engage with Pyxl.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed documentation for deals, client relationships, and projects.
  • Utilize Pyxl’s strategic relationships with partners in hosting, technology, and related areas to become an educated advocate for the full life cycle of Pyxl’s services.
  • The Senior Client Strategist will be responsible for identifying and raising potential client issues and will be an integral part of conflict resolution with the help of their leadership team as needed.
  • Leading voice/direction for the client that is consistent across all assigned account projects as resourcing adjusts based on scope.
  • Manage deal progress and client invoicing records through HubSpot CRM for all assigned and/or earned accounts.
  • Build and own client presentations for kick-off meetings and other meetings as required.


  • 6+  years of professional experience
  • Experience with and passion for marketing (websites, media, etc.)
  • Experience delivering website/digital projects or products.
  • Experience producing client agreements and proposals.
  • Outstanding written communication.
  • Outstanding verbal communication.
  • Outstanding collaboration skills, inspiring consensus, and collaboration from varied internal and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for helping clients and prospects move from concept to execution.
  • Comfortable networking and building relationships on behalf of Pyxl.
  • Willingness to take initiative and help with a variety of account service tasks.
  • Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Slides, Sheets).
  • Experience working within a CRM (HubSpot or similar).
  • Willingness to take initiative and help with a variety of account service tasks.

Nice to Have

  • Ability to use existing network of contacts to spread the word about Pyxl and build a book of business.
  • Experience working in a digital agency — account management, business development, etc.
  • Experience with core Pyxl disciplines, e.g. back and front end engineering, UX and visual design, ad strategy, and audience growth.
  • Familiarity with the WordPress and web development ecosystem, e.g. knowledge of popular tools, plugins, frameworks, best practices, and conventions.
  • Experience with the digital marketing ecosystem of tools, e.g. Google Analytics, DFP.Remote working experience appreciated.
